Where Are Your Zakats Used?

As a result of the social reviews, Zakat is given to low income earners whose income is below the minimum wage and who are determined not to meet their basic needs (elderly, women, disabled, chronic patients, refugees, disaster victims, homeless, orphans, students, people living on the street, individuals who are exposed to social exclusion) all kinds of  aid is provided.

Cash Zakat
“All” of the cash donations and aid made to Ahiska Relief against receipt can be deducted from the declared income (base). Persons filing personal returns as well as corporations filing returns can deduct all of their donations to Ahiska Relief from their taxable earnings without any percentage or amount limit.

Zakat in Kind

Companies can benefit from tax exemption by recording their food, cleaning, clothing, fuel donations to Ahiska Relief which works in accordance with the Food Banking Principles, as expenses.
